It was our distinct pleasure to receive this honorable E-mail from Sharjah’s International Book Fair, we were – MERIC – Pleased to participate in such a giant event. The Middle East Readers Information Center (MERIC), for more than ten years was keen to be a part of this event and it contributed too much to our own success too. This cooperation added a lot to our values and history. We sincerely appreciate your efficient, gracious cooperation, the level of detail and accountability you have demonstrated on every detail, and the way you organized this event as a whole.
We have, and will continue to, participate in this event and we are looking forward to next year’s book Fair. Our team will keep working on maintaining this honorable cooperation and we look forward to continuing this relationship.
Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is an 11-day international book fair held annually in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Its debut edition was launched in 1982 under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Having built itself a formidable reputation in its past 35 editions, SIBF today is recognized as one of the world’s top publishing events, and is the largest in the Arab world. SIBF 2018 has been one the fair’s most successful editions to date. It hosted 1,874 publishing houses from 77 countries, with 1.6 million titles on display, including 80,000 new titles. The fair welcomed 2.23 million visitors, who had access to 20 million books, all under one roof.
For more than ten years, The Middle East Readers Information Center was keen to be a part in this huge book event. We always make sure that we provide our honorable visitors with the latest releases in various academic genres. We are also keen to keep pace with the technological evolution in cooperative and educational fields; we are the sole authorized agent for the Canadian Knowledge GEMZ Platform which added a lot to our clients and contributed to their success.
